Anaïs M. Rointru
But everyone calls me Ana, and I prefer it !
Passionate about weddings for more than three decades (yes, she’s not that young, this lady), I’m probably just as excited as you are to see you in your wedding dress.
Otherwise, I love good wine, 90s fashion, four-cheese pizza, and my cats Nugget and Sundae, whom I consider my children (they are).
I live in Bordeaux, and I travel all over the south-west to document, with natural vibes, good humour, and a touch of modernity, one of the biggest moments of your life ❤️
And yes, I almost always cry during your getting ready.
But, promise, it doesn’t last (too) long.
If you’re looking for a photographer who ticks boxes, only captures the “key moments,” and won’t take one step more… or if you just want the cheapest offer on the market, we’re clearly not going to be besties on this one.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve never really liked doing things like everyone else (oops). Not out of rebellion, but because I love living crazy experiences and, let’s be honest, you rarely live those by staying inside the rules.
I’ve always been passionate about the world of weddings, but it was only after ten years spent in fashion, in my native Paris, that I decided to start my greatest adventure: yours.
To me, being a wedding photographer isn’t just “taking photos.”
Absolutely not.
And that changes everything.
After the important moments of our lives, what truly remains?
Our memories… and the photos that carry them on. They become an extension of what we lived, a way to remember, to feel again, to reopen a door we thought was closed.
We see it with the slightly shaky photos on our phones: even if they’re not perfect, they’re there, they hold on to something we forget too quickly. And when we stumble upon them again, everything comes back.
That’s the magic I want to offer you for your wedding.

If these few lines speak to you, it probably means we see things the same way, and that’s already good news!
Connection is essential when choosing your wedding photographer.
If the images you see here, or the words you’re reading, don’t feel like you… then honestly, close this page. I’m saying this with complete kindness: without connection, your photos won’t be able to look like you. And this is definitely not a day where you want to end up disappointed.
What I’d love is to become a bit like your new best friend (with a camera). Yes, just that.
Because that’s how you’ll truly feel comfortable. How you’ll be able to let go, even in the most intimate moments. And honestly, no one deserves to live those moments with someone they don’t actually like.
I’ll be watching for your subtle smiles, your emotions, but also those of your loved ones, so that later you can relive this day from another point of view: theirs. The one you won’t always have time to see on the wedding day, too busy loving, laughing, and enjoying your favorite people.
With complete discretion, I will tell the story of your wedding, from the smallest detail to the biggest moments, so you can relive them with the same intensity.
Again and again.
For a lifetime.
This is what you’ll pass on to your children.
This is what will make you the annoying grandparents who always show the same photos.
This is the true power of an image.
What truly matters is that you live your wedding day at 100%.
Because it’s by having the time of your life without holding back, without watching yourselves, without wondering what you look like, that the most beautiful memories are born, the ones that feel like you.
So if you, too, want to fully enjoy, laugh, feel everything, live this day without filter, in a traditional version or completely outside the rules… there’s a very good chance we’ll make a (very) great team.
And I would be genuinely honoured to share a piece of your story ❤️
Thank you for reading.
Ana
